Wishing Pixies start with a doll. The doll represents a friend that the child can nurture and interact with. In the child’s eyes, the Pixie doll can grant wishes; when they are happy and show positive behaviors.The child communicates with the Pixie doll via the Wishing Pixies app. Inside the app, the child lists a set of wishes for the Pixie.Behind the scenes, the parent has already created an account on the website and has listed a set of behaviors or tasks that they want the child to adopt. The parent plays the role of the Pixie doll, communicating as the Pixie to the child. The parent assigns the positive mindful tasks located inside the App, in addition to positive behaviors that the child should complete outside the App. The children are motivated to complete their tasks so they can earn their wishes from their Pixie. Children will work over a period time collecting pixie dust; until they earned enough Pixie dust for a specific wish they made to their Pixie.
